Lenovo S10 camera ใช้ไม่ได้หลังจาก up Firmware
มีใครลองอับแล้ว เป็นเหมือนผมบ้าง
ตอนนีลง XP Pro ก็ยังใช้ไม่ได้

SYMPTOM:
After installing the Bison Camera Firmware Upgrade, the S10 camera will stop working and display only grey or black background.

AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:

Ideapad S10 can be equipped with two different camera sensors. The firmware upgrade available on the website, (version 1404) would damage the existing firmware of one of the cameras and cause the problem described above.

Important Note: This hotfix must ONLY be installed on the machines affected by the symptoms described above. If the camera is working properly, do not install this hotfix. Otherwise, the camera firmware will be destroyed permanently.

A new Firmware upgrade, version 1405, has been released and is available on the website in order to prevent the issue from happening.

SOLUTION:

1.Download the hotfix ?Bison camera FW refresh tool?

2.Double click on the executable file.

3.You will see the dialogue box below

4.Press ?FW Upgrade?

5.You will see a message that describes the success / failure of the upgrade

6.To Complete the Firmware (FW) upgrade, please power off the camera device or turn off the notebook (NB).

ลองเข้าไปดูใน BIOS ว่ามีที่เปิดปิดกล้องหรือเปล่า ปกติแล้วหลังจากอัพ BIOS ใหมๆ่ ค่าปกติมันจะถูกปิดอยู่

ใน bios ไม่มีให้เซตของ S10 นะครับ ในเวปนอกเจอปัญหาเดียวกันนี้อยู่หลายคน เช็คกับ 0 ยังไม่รู้ปัญหานี้เลย ผมเลยสรุปว่า

tablet pc อีกเครื่องที่ใช้
ตอนแรก ใส่ ramไป 4 Gig เครื่อง detect ได้แค่ 3 Gig
พออัป service pack 1 แล้ว ก็หาย.. พบครบทั้ง 4 Gig
แต่... เสียงจากลำโพงหายไป
ต้องลงไดร์ฟเวอร์ใหม่..ตามวิธีที่ระบุไว้ในเวปของไมโครซอฟต์

ปัจจุบัน tablet pc เครื่องนั้น สมบูรณ์แข็งแรงดี

อิฉันทำมาแล้ว อีเมลล์เข้าไปถามว่าทำไมใช้แบต 6 cell แล้วเครื่องไม่รู้จัก

พอเขารับรู้ ก็ทำไบออสใหม่มาให้อัป
ส่งข่าวมาทางอีเมลล์ให้เข้าไปอัป

ไม่แน่นะ เขาอาจเปลี่ยนเครื่อง เปลี่ยนอะไหล่ให้
แลปท้อปอีกตัวนึง อิฉันอัปเดตไบออสแล้วทำให้ fingerprint reader ไม่ทำงาน
ลง driver ใหม่ก็แล้ว ก็ไม่ได้ผล

โทรไปบริษัทตัวแทนในไทย
เขาก็เปลี่ยนให้ทั้งจอเลย มาเปลี่ยนให้ถึงที่ ไม่ต้องยกเข้าไป
(fringerprint reader ติดอยู่ที่ขอบจอ)
..
เสียดายแต่ screen protector กับ skin ฝาเครื่อง
ที่ต้องไปกับจอเคลม
กว่าจะหาลายถูกใจเจอ
กว่าจะแปะให้สวยเนียนปานนี้..ธ่อ...
